The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. Acts 17:24,25

Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:1

Read a Post on Facebook today, "Everyone dies but not Everyone lives." Let's see what the word of God says!
"Everyone dies but not Everyone lives."
Genesis 5:21-24 21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. 22 And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether Enoch lived 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. NIV
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. NIV
* Notes from Jim, Enoch walked with God 300 years,it says that "Enoch pleased God. It also says that Enoch did not experience death because God took him. Possibly one of the very first examples of a rapture!

John 15:12-14 NIV
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish , and it will be given to you. This is to my Father' glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:12-14 NIV

John 14:27 NIV
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
